Create Account & Shared Calendar

■Create an account

After installing TimeTree, you can sign in/create an account using an email address or Facebook. Or you may click on 'Skip to start'. You can create an account to save your calendars and events later even if you chose 'Skip to start'.


Once you create your account or simply jump right into the app after reading the Terms of Service, you’ll be greeted by a short explanation of what you can do with the app.

You can choose to skip this by tapping the ”skip” button in the top right hand side of the screen. Whichever you choose, afterwards you’ll be greeted with a variety of ways you can begin sharing your calendars with.

1. Share a calendar 

Here you can share the newly created calendar. You can also skip this step.


From left to right: Email, Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp

If the following invitation dialog does not appear after beginning, tap "More" in the calendar view and then tap "Invite people to this calendar". For more details please refer here.

If you'd like to invite multiple people at once, you can create an invitation link by tapping the arrow on the right hand side.


2. Customizing your calendar 

You can customize your calendar by changing the Name, Cover Photo and the color of events for that calendar. You can navigate her by pressing “More” in the bottom right hand corner of the screen and tapping the gear in the upper right corner of that screen. 


3. Import events from other calendar(s) 

If you have already saved appointments to your OS calendar such as Google and Outlook calendar(s), you can copy them and bring them all over to the shared calendar easily.

4. Check current members in the “More” tab 

Congratulations! You have finished setting up. You can now start creating events.
