Notifications

There are multiple notification options within TimeTree.

Notifications can be turned on or off to compliment your TimeTree experience.

1. Event Reminder

2. Group Calendar Notification

3. Today's Notification

4. OS Calendar Notification (For 'All Calendars' Users Only)

5. Receive fewer notifications

1. Event Reminder

Event reminders can be set to notify you of upcoming events. When the time for notification has been set, all members of the calendar will receive a notification for that event.

2. Group Calendar Notification

By turning a calendar's notification on and off, you can choose to receive updates of new, edited, and deleted entries and changes from a specific calendar.

1. Tap the three horizontal lines in the top left-hand corner of the app
2. Select the calendar you wish to disable/enable notifications on
3. Tap the "Settings" on the bottom right-hand side of the screen
4. Tap on the "Customize"
5. Set "Receive Notifications from this Calendar" on and off to your preference.
6. Tap ”Customize notifications” to set and receive a summary of notifications

❖ Turning the calendar notification off does not affect other members' ability to receive notifications

3. Today's Notifications

A daily agenda that summarizes the events of the day that we send to you at a time of your choosing, and the time that this notification appears on your phone. 

1. Tap the three horizontal lines on the top left-hand side of the screen
2. Tap the "App settings" button on the upper right corner
3. Under "Today's Event" you can change the settings of this notification
   • Allow Today's Event Notifications
   • Notify on days with no events
   • Notification time

4. OS Calendar Notifications

If you subscribe to OS calendars such as Google calendar using 'All Calendars', you can allow or block notifications from the events outside of TimeTree.

1. 1. Go to the main many by tapping the three horizontal lines on the top left-hand side of the screen
   2. Tap the "App settings" button on the upper right corner
   3. Turn on/off "OS Calendar Notifications"
