These directions are for Public Calendars that are shared across the internet. Please see this page for the regular shared calendar.
How to create
iOS / Android
- Tap the image icon in the top left corner
- Tap the “Create new calendar “+” button at the bottom of the calendar list
- Select “Public Calendar”
- Add details of the calendar
- Calendar name and cover image
- What kind of information are you going to share
Web
- Click on the three lines on the top left
- Click "Create a new calendar" at the bottom
- Select "Public Calendar" on the right side
- Click "Create a Public Calendar"
- Enter information and click "Save"
- Calendar name and cover image
- What kind of information are you going to share
Important notes
- When you add events, a red badge will appear in the upper right corner of the calendar cover
- You will be notified when you have a certain number of followers on your calendar.
- If there are any changes to the calendar or event content, please update as soon as possible
- You can manage up to 20 public calendars.
- All events added to the Public Calendar will be published on the web and can be viewed by anyone (Currently, there are no restriction options)
How to share
You can share Public Calendar details on social media.
- Calendar details
- Open Public Calendar
- Select “Share”
- Public calendar URL, event title/date/time, calendar name hashtag, and #TimeTreePublic are automatically added
- Event details
- Open event
- Tap the three dots button at the top right corner
- Event URL, TimeTree download URL, calendar name hashtag, and #TimeTreePublic are automatically added
- Calendar Image
- Tap the calendar icon button on the top right corner
- Scroll down and tap "Calendar image"
- Adjust style from "Settings"
- Share in social media or download the image
Other information
- The created public calendar may be introduced in the app, SNS, etc. in accordance with TimeTree's Terms of Use.
- Public calendars and basic TimeTree functionality are available free of charge.
